Description
There comes a time when perhaps it's not the solidity of a wall we are up against. Maybe it's a fence, and we are able to see what's on the other side. Or it might be dark, and we cannot see what's ahead. In either case, the question might be, "Turn back or go forward?" Turning back might be easier and feel safer, but going forward in spite of the barrier and the unknown, may actually be the best way to go.

I love this. It immediately reminded me of how much I loved soft ball in spite of how horrible I was at it. When I was 11 I played on a community softball team. At the end of the season my team mates met with me to tell me I was a great person but that I shouldn't come out next year. So many barriers in front of us, real or imagined. I didn't go back next year and I didn't practice with my ball and bat anymore. As a child, I let many barriers hold me back from what I loved. As an adult I have learned to see the challenge in things and the satisfaction of overcoming barriers. Thank you for providing this moment of introspection with your art. So moving. L

Thanks Marcia! I appreciate it! (If you look carefully, you can actually see the earth in the distance).

I want to say, "move over, I want to see what's behind the fence too." lol. Love it! F/V
