Description
On a very clear afternoon back in the late 1970's, I was able to capture this urban landscape with an excellent view of Lower Manhattan in New York City 17 miles away from one of the rooftop apartments on Grove Street in Montclair, New Jersey.

Fantastic capture, Kellice! Magnificent clarity, not only in the beautiful sunlit foreground, but in the amazing distant view of Manhattan. What brilliant hindsight symbolism - to have the church tower mirror the twin towers! Extraordinary composition! L/F/T/G+
Kellice Swaggerty replied:
Thank you so much, Hanne! I especially appreciate your insight you shared regarding the symbolism and deeper meaning. :)

I really like the way your framed the NY Skyline with the tower of the church, Kellice! The color of the church and the light are fabulous! Great photo!!! Do you ever get a clear enough day now to see skyline in NY? L/F/Pin
Kellice Swaggerty replied:
Hi Sue. I'm glad you like this. The house you can see in the foreground is a few doors up the street I live on. And we definitely have had some pretty clear days this winter. I can see the Freedom Tower from my kitchen window during many clear nights.
Kellice Swaggerty replied:
footnote: A multi-level parking deck now blocks my view of the Freedom Tower, Montclair seems to be intent on developing whatever might have been worth preserving.
